I had the great opportunity to hang out with Curtis Popp a few days ago and take some photos of him and tour his home in Sacramento. It was a profound experience that I wasn't expecting. We talked about art, architecture, design and the staleness of American creativity. The Warhol clones and commercial/capitalist agenda that has infested the art community in the US. I don't consider myself to be an artist. I create images and media but like Popp I think of myself more as a designer. Someone who organizes things and puts them into order. To find the order from the disorder of the world in some ways.
Anyway Here are the photos!
